The Petromax fire anchor – the variable cooking place for the outdoor kitchen.
Description of Fire Anchor
With the fire anchor from Petromax you can spontaneously turn any campfire into a practical and versatile cooking place including grill function. The fire anchor made of coated steel can be easily and quickly anchored in the ground next to your fireplace. No matter whether you want to use it over an open fire, over the Atago or over the grill and fire bowl, it reliably helps you to cook in the Dutch Oven (up to and including ft6), to prepare hot water in the tea kettle or to grill vegetables, sausages etc. on the barbecue grill.
Always an Arm’s Length Ahead
Your fire anchor has a main bar, which is fixed in the ground, and three arms, which you can put individually on the fire anchor and vary in height and orientation. Two of the arms have notches at the ends where you can hang your cooking utensils. The third arm has a grill rack and an additional notch for your grill gloves or the grill and charcoal tongs. On the generous grill grate with raised edge sausages, vegetable skewers and co. find a safe place.
Good Stand on Solid Ground
Before using the fire anchor, however, you must pay attention to the respective ground conditions at the fireplace. Sandy ground, for example, is less suitable, as the fire anchor will have little grip here. When cooking with heavy Dutch Ovens, make sure that the weight of the fire anchor is properly balanced to ensure that your fire anchor stands securely on solid ground.
