Best Before Date (BBD)

The best before date indicates the minimum shelf life of the food. Of course, every manufacturer wants to be “on the safe side” in this respect and includes a safety margin. The BBD is not a “throw-away date”!

The best before date indicates the minimum shelf life of the food. Of course, every manufacturer wants to be “on the safe side” in this respect and includes a safety margin. The BBD is not a “throw-away date”!  (tins).

We do not make any compromises in the production process either. Both the hygienic conditions with circulating air disinfection  (sterilAir) as well as the quality of our packaging machines (INDOSA) leave nothing to be desired. In addition, the SicherSatt tins are cleaned with ionized compressed air before filling.  (SWISS-CAN-MACHINERY)

In this way, we ensure that no impurities and foreign substances get into our tins. In addition, we are able to verifiably reduce the residual oxygen to less than 0.5% using a nitrogen protective atmosphere.

These measures enable – with appropriate Lagerung – in practice a very long durability.
