Dutch Oven ft18 – for >20 Persons:

The original Petromax Fire Pot, often referred to as Dutch Oven, is ideal for cooking and baking outdoors or in your home oven. Cast iron pots have existed since the 18th century. Even then, the unique properties of cast iron were appreciated. With the Dutch Oven, Petromax is continuing this tradition and also equips the fire pot with a variety of sophisticated details.

Petromax Cast Iron Quality
Due to the excellent properties of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is efficiently stored and transferred. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) eliminates the need for initial burn-in and the robust Dutch Oven can be used immediately. Outdoors it is used on an open fire or with charcoal and briquettes. The raised edge of the lid makes it possible to place embers or charcoal also on the Dutch Oven. This way the Dutch Oven is heated from all sides and is also suitable for baking bread, for example.

Greatest Cooking Pleasure Thanks to Sophisticated Details
The Dutch Oven is equipped with ingenious details that make it easier to handle and increase the cooking pleasure. A robust handle allows the Dutch Oven to be lifted safely, three feet give the fire pot a secure stand and a thermometer feed-through allows the temperature to be checked without having to lift the lid. If you want to lift the hot lid, you can do this very easily with the Petromax lid lifter.
Together with all these ingenious details, the Dutch Oven comes in the classic Petromax design: the lid is adorned with the elegant dragon logo, which has always stood for excellent quality and premium products.

Available in Different Sizes and Expandable with Practical Accessories
The Petromax Dutch Oven is available in several sizes, so that the right pot can be selected for the respective recipe or number of people. In the largest version ft18 with feet, the Dutch Oven has a capacity of approx. 17.3 liters. This allows dishes for more than 20 people to be prepared. For the Petromax Dutch Oven, in addition to the lid lifter, other accessories are available, such as the care paste, the coaster and, for cleaning cast iron, the ring cleaner.
