Description of Reactor-P3 R Special Filter

In combination with full face masks, the filter offers you protection against radioactive dust,
radioactive iodine and iodomethane as well as toxic and highly toxic substances. With innovative
BIOSTOP filter. Applied standard: DIN EN 3181-3.

Protection from:

  • radioactive iodine
  • radioactive iodomethane
  • radioactive dust
  • Particles of toxic and highly toxic substances
  • Bacteria and fungi

Functionality:

The principle of filter respiratory protection is to remove harmful components from the air before inhalation. For this purpose, special filter materials are used, which must be adapted to the pollutants present. Therefore it is important to know which pollutants are present.

Duration of Use:

The service life of the filters depends on the filter class, the ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, pollutant content…) and the breathing capacity of the user. Gas filters are exhausted when the smell or taste of the gas becomes noticeable: Particle filters and particle-filtering half masks when the breathing resistance increases noticeably.

It is therefore advisable to include replacement filters in the calculation, in times of crisis these filters are usually sold out quickly.

Data Sheet Protective Mask Filter Reactor

Particle filters protect against dust, smoke, spray and mist as well as microorganisms, viruses and spores.
Gas filters protect against gases and vapors, whereby these are divided into several types, and the filters into corresponding types.
Combination filters are gas and particle filters in one.
Multirange filters include several types of gas filters, multirange combination filters combine several types of gas filters and particulate filters.

For the division into filter types and classes, see the following tables:

Filter typeMain application (type of pollutant)ClassesIdentification color
A         rganic gases and vapors with boiling point >65 °C1,2,3brown
AX       Organic gases and vapors with boiling point <65 °C of low-boiling groups 1 and 2 (see BG regulations)brown
B        Inorganic gases and vapors like: hydrocyanic acid (hydrogen cyanide), chlorine, hydrogen sulfide (hydrogen sulfide), but not against carbon monoxide1,2,3grey
