Unique Strong Light Technology in German Manufacture Quality
The outstanding light output of the Petromax lamp is due to a simple but fascinating principle: Petroleum is fed under pressure into a gasifier, the vaporizing fuel reacts in a mantle impregnated with light salts to produce a bright, warm light. To ensure that this principle works perfectly, the lamp, which consists of over 200 individual parts, is still assembled by hand. The long tradition of Petromax is based on its high quality and the associated durability.
